A court appearance is set for Monday in Halifax Provincial Court for Sukhpreet Singh, a 23-year-old relative of the woman, and his wife, 26-year-old Ramandeep Kaur, on charges of concealing the body of a child, obstruction, and Indignity to a dead body. The investigation remains ongoing. Condolences have been extended by police to the infant's loved ones.
